We are lucky enough to live in a part of town where in 15 minutes, you can walk along gorgeous tree-lined trails to parks and ocean beaches.
The other day, after enjoying the morning at the beach with friends, while Lila was napping and Sophie was colouring, I had the chance to start a new infusion of Zhen Zhu Mu in Sweet Almond Oil.
First we heat-infuse the herbs in oil, then leave them to sit for 30 days. Zhen Zhu Mu is mother of pearl shell, and the way the shells sparkle in the sun is so pretty. The Chinese believe Zhen Zhu Mu beautifies the skin. It is astringent, tones the skin, treats acne and regenerates skin cells. Our Zhen Zhu Mu oil infusion is used in our Balancing Face Oil.
